Attorney Robert E. Campbell recently announced his retirement from the practice of law beginning on December 31, 2023.

Robert ("Bob") lived most of his life in Adams County, Pennsylvania. He is a 1960 graduate of Biglerville High School. He received his B.A. Degree from Ursinus College in 1964 and received his Juris Doctor Degree cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1967. He was admitted to practice law before the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania in November 1967.

Bob began his legal career as a general practitioner and part time Public Defender.

While continuing to maintain a general practice, he placed special emphasis on estate planning and estate administration, real estate law and settlements, representation of small businesses (including sales and transfer of business and obtaining and transferring liquor licenses for many area restaurants), corporate and municipal law.  Bob was also a Title Insurance Agent for First American Title Insurance Company and gain vast real estate experience from conducting his own title searches to handling closings and issuing title insurance. He represented several municipalities and municipal authorities in the Adams County Area.

Bob is a member of the Gettysburg Optimist Club which devotes its attention to the betterment of youth in the community. He served as a little league and teener league baseball coach for 10 years and a youth soccer coach for 30 years. He is an active member of his church serving in numerous capacities.

He and his wife, Catherine reside in Gettysburg. They have four sons.
