Nancy H. Meyers

Nancy H. Meyers, a shareholder with the firm Salzmann Hughes, P.C., practices mainly in the areas of estates and trusts, but handles business and commercial and residential real estate matters, as well.

Nancy is a graduate of The Scranton Preparatory School and Immaculata College (B.A. Accounting). She received her Juris Doctorate from The Villanova University School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and was awarded the Theodore L. Reimel Award for Oral Advocacy.

Nancy was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1995 and began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable William H. Kaye (deceased). In 1997, she joined the Franklin County Office of the Public Defender as an Assistant Public Defender. In 2001, Nancy became an Assistant District Attorney in Franklin County. While serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Nancy was sworn in as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in 2004. In 2005, she joined Maxwell Law Offices. On April 1, 2006, Nancy became a partner in the firm and the name was changed to Maxwell & Meyers, LLP.    

She is a former member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Wellspan Health, having also served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Summit Health, prior to its affiliation with Wellspan. Nancy is also the Treasurer of the Franklin County Bar Association.  She is a past Chair of the Board of the Chambersburg Hospital, has served on the Board of Directors of the Shook Home & Quarters and the Franklin County Library System, and has taught at Penn State Mont Alto and Shippensburg University.  

Nancy is also the founder of a software company focused on helping individuals who are responsible for the finances and medical care of incapacitated adults. 

Nancy and her husband live in Chambersburg.
