Associate
Matthew T. Boyer concentrates his practice on municipal law and general litigation. Matt began his career as a first-year associate at the UK Silver Circle law firm Ashurst in Frankfurt, Germany after studying abroad in Germany during college and law school. He later worked as in-house counsel to companies in the insurance, information technology and automotive industries in Pennsylvania. Matt subsequently focused his practice on general civil litigation and insurance defense litigation, and has litigated cases in state and federal courts, as well as before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals in Falls Church, Virginia.
Matt graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and a minor in Asian studies in 1998 and earned his law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2001. He also earned a Law & Government Institute Certificate from Widener. While in law school, he served on the law review and published the annually awarded Best Student Article in the Widener Journal of Public Law. Matt is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Matt lives in York with his wife, Karen.
