Kurt E. Williams concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning and land use, environmental, municipal law and business and corporate law. Kurt received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Penn State University, and his J.D. degree (cum laude) from the Dickinson School of Law. During law school, Kurt was the recipient of the West Publishing Company Award and was a member of the Woolsack Honor Society. He also received two Corpus Juris Secundum Awards, one for excellence in contracts, and the other for excellence in property law. Also during law school, Kurt served as a legal intern in the office of the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and in the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office. Kurt has also served as a law clerk to former United States Magistrate Judge Andrew Smyser and Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Richard Lewis.

Kurt has significant experience in land use, land development matters, environmental permitting and administrative law. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court.

Kurt is also an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot and Gold Seal Flight Instructor. His other outside interests include Scuba diving, backpacking and hunting.

Civic Interests

Kurt is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill, PA. He is very active with the Boy Scouts of America, having personally earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Kurt is also a Vigil Honor Member of Sasquesahanough Lodge 11 of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s national honor society. He presently serves on the Pioneer District Committee and has served on Wood Badge staff.  Kurt is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the John G. Williams Scholarship Foundation, which awards low-interest higher education loans to deserving Pennsylvania students.  He also serves as a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight East.  He previously served as a member of the Newberry Township Planning Commission.
