Justin M. George

Principal

Justin M. George concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental law, land use, municipal law, commercial and residential real estate, and general litigation.  Justin spends time between Salzmann Hughes Chambersburg and Gettysburg offices, based on the needs of the team and our clients.

Justin received his undergraduate degree in Communication Arts from Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa.  He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School.  While at Widener, Justin was the recipient of the CALI Award for obtaining the highest grade in Environmental Law.  He also served on the executive board for the Widener University Commonwealth Law School Trial Advocacy Honor Society.  Prior to joining Salzmann Hughes, P.C., Justin served as a Certified Legal Intern at the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.

Justin leads the firm in government entity and private collection matters, handling negotiations, demand letters, and court proceedings, if necessary.  He currently maintains collection matters for nearly 40 municipal entities across the Commonwealth.  Justin also contributes extensively to the real estate practice group, offering professional settlement and abstracting services.  Additionally, Justin is experienced in handling complex environmental issues which may arise in real estate transactions.

Justin is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Franklin County Bar Association.  He currently resides in Gettysburg, PA with his wife, Kelsie, and their golden doodle, Bella.
