Principal

Jason R. Sabol is a Principal at Salzmann Hughes, P.C. operating out of the Camp Hill office. Jason brings a wealth of municipal experience to the firm, having served as solicitor for the City of York, several First Class Townships, Boroughs, and Authorities over the past twelve years. Along with his municipal work, Jason maintains a regular business practice representing small business owners in matters ranging from general corporate governance to land development and zoning issues to contracts and collections.

Jason graduated from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law as a member of the prestigious Woolsack Society. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth Doyle with the Court of Common Pleas of Blair County, before serving in the Public Defender’s Office there for two years.

During Jason’s time as the Solicitor for the City of York, he led the legal department through two administrations, handling the day-to-day legal operations of the City, while overseeing outside counsel and serving as a trusted advisor to two mayors. He is most proud of the work he and his team put into the process for the sale of the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, resulting in an eventual sale price of $235 million dollars.

After leaving the City of York, Jason worked in private practice serving as solicitor to several townships, boroughs, and authorities throughout York County, while also assisting school districts with labor/employment matters and Right-to-Know issues, to go along with his business practice.

Jason is an ardent supporter of the community and has served as the Chair of the DreamWrights Center for Community Arts, is a founding member of the York Fringe, and most recently served as a member of the York Business Improvement District Authority. He has also presented for numerous organizations and conferences, including the York County Economic Alliance and the Pennsylvania Business Privilege and Mercantil Tax Collectors Association.
