Associate
James joined the Salzmann Hughes Chambersburg office in February 2024 and provides representation and counsel to various municipal entities regarding zoning and land use, employment matters, and general municipal law.
James graduated from the University of Akron while pitching baseball for their Division I team. At Western Michigan University Law School (2010-2013), James founded the Environmental Law Society and excelled in intra-school Moot Court competitions. He further honed his legal skills by serving as a Professor's Assistant. James' dedication was rewarded with a Certificate of Merit and Book Award for achieving the highest grade in his Federal Administrative Law class.
James served as a Probation Officer and Clerk of Courts at the Barberton Municipal Court where he managed probationer case files, guided defendants through alternative jail programs, and conducted pre-sentence investigations for judges. Before joining Salzmann Hughes, James also championed the rights of employers and employees in workplace disputes at a private law firm for nearly two and a half years.
Beyond the courtroom, James is a devoted family man who cherishes spending time with his wife, Connie, and three children, Katerina, Eliana, and James, at their home in Annville, PA. James also enjoys creative writing and has authored numerous short stories, manuscripts, and novels. Today, James lives out his love for baseball as a diehard Atlanta Braves fan.
