Salzmann Hughes, P.C. Law Firm Announces Two New Shareholders

CHAMBERSBURG - Salzmann Hughes, P.C. is pleased to announce the election of two new Shareholders, Stephen T. Coccorese, Esq. and Isaac P. Wakefield, Esq., in the firm’s Chambersburg and Harrisburg locations, respectively.

G. Bryan Salzmann, Esq. celebrated the occasion explaining that, “Both Steve and Isaac have demonstrated significant dedication to their profession and to the firm. Their promotion to Shareholder is a direct reflection of their daily commitment and service to our clients as well as to other firm team members.”

James Hughes, Esq. continued, “Our executive team’s decision was based on Isaac and Steve’s clear leadership and success in their individual fields. Both practitioners have made substantial contributions to the growth of our firm’s knowledge and client base.”

Stephen Coccorese has spent his career with Salzmann Hughes, P.C. working in the firm’s Municipal Law group, and has honed his practice over the last decade to focus on labor and employment matters. In July 2021, he was named Chair of the firm’s new Labor and Employment practice group. Steve leads all aspects of labor relations and labor law compliance, including employee discipline, union contract negotiations, personnel policy development and enforcement, and general human resources counselling. Steve currently serves as solicitor or special counsel to numerous municipalities and municipal authorities throughout Southcentral Pennsylvania. Steve received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Penn State University Dickinson School of Law in 2012, and his B.S. in Crime, Law, and Justice from Penn State University in 2007. He lives in Greencastle with his fiancé, Svetlana, and their children, Dominic and Calista.

Since joining Salzmann Hughes, P.C. in 2013, Isaac Wakefield has concentrated his practice in general litigation, appeals, and municipal law. As the firm’s leader in appellate procedure, Isaac has frequently appeared in trial and appellate courts. Isaac has hands-on experience in litigation involving a variety of municipal matters, including appellate matters. General municipal matters are also a significant portion of Isaac’s practice, and he provides legal counsel regarding a range of matters to various municipalities and authorities in PA. Isaac earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2011. Isaac currently resides in Hampden Township with his wife, Elsa, and son Micah.
