COMMUNITY AID, INC. SUCCESSFUL IN VARIANCE APPLICATION TO YORK TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD

May 28, 2019.     Salzmann Hughes, PC client Community Aid, Inc. (“CommunityAid”) was successful in its application to the York Township Zoning Hearing Board for a variance to construct a porte-cochere at the Queensgate Shopping Center (former Bon-Ton location), to cover the donation drop-off area for its proposed new thrift store in York Township, York County, Pennsylvania.   The variance was required because the porte-cochere extends into the 50’ building setback.   CommunityAid is neighbors helping neighbors by accepting donations to create quality jobs, offer an affordable shopping experience, and support non-profit partners serving the local community.    CommunityAid was represented during the variance application process by attorney Kurt E. Williams.
