Salzmann Hughes, PC attorney, George Douglas volunteered with the Carlisle Kiwanis Club to help distribute approximately 2,800 ten pound boxes of blueberries to customers of their annual sale.
On Tuesday, July 10, 2018, Salzmann Hughes, PC attorney, George Douglas volunteered with the Carlisle Kiwanis Club to help distribute approximately 2,800 ten pound boxes of blueberries to customers of their annual sale. George has been a member of the Carlisle Kiwanis Club for 27 years and is the Chairman of their Youth Services Committee. The Carlisle Kiwanis Club is the club that started the annual blueberry sale which has raised approximately $30,000 per year for the Carlisle Club which is distributed to youth organizations in the Carlisle area. The annual fundraiser has spread to many other Kiwanis Clubs in our area and as far north as State College, Pennsylvania.
