George F. Douglas III

The Douglas name is synonymous with quality and excellence in legal representation. George F. Douglas, III began his law career under the tutelage of his father, George F. Douglas, Jr., a trial attorney with a national reputation. He became a partner in the noted law firm of Douglas, Douglas and Douglas where he practiced with his father and his brother, William P. Douglas. After his father’s death, he brought his experience along with his impressive pedigree to Salzmann Hughes, P.C. George concentrates his practice at Salzmann Hughes in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, estate planning and administration and business law. 

A native of Carlisle, George has enjoyed practicing law in Cumberland County since 1991.

His strong family connections and loyalty to his community have helped him form strong bonds and relationships with the people of Carlisle. He is a leader both in the legal arena as well as within the community. He is involved in various non-profit organizations that provide everything from support to youth, to hope for families facing financial challenges.

George represents several contractors in all phases of their businesses from land development to sales to collection activities. As a solicitor for Carlisle Opportunity Homes, he helps first time buyers arrange their financing to become homeowners.

George lives in Carlisle with his wife and their two children.
