Stephen E. Patterson provides extensive experience in the areas of zoning and land use, business planning and formation, and commercial and residential real estate law, including commercial real estate development. He also practices in the areas of estate planning and administration. Stephen is a graduate of Gettysburg College and Wake Forest University Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section) and the Franklin County Bar Association, and is a title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Co. He serves on the boards of directors of Franklin Financial Services Corporation and its banking subsidiary, Farmers & Merchants Trust Company of Chambersburg.

Stephen was a founding partner in the Waynesboro law firm of Beck, Patterson and Kaminski. Most recently, he was a shareholder and president of its successor firm, Patterson & Kiersz, P.C. Steve served as solicitor for Washington Township from 1972 through 1985.

Steve has served several terms on the board of directors of Franklin County Area Development Corporation, and has been a past director of Cumberland Valley School of Music, Inc. and Waynesboro Country Club, Inc. He is a past president of the Waynesboro Area Chamber of Commerce.
