Elana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Crime, Law and Justice from Pennsylvania State University. She received her Juris Doctor, cum lade, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2016.
During law school, Elana was Senior Management Editor on the Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law. She also served as a Certified Legal Intern with Pittsburg’s Environmental Law Clinic and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Jill Rangos of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
Prior to joining Salzmann Hughes, Elana defended physicians, physician practice groups and long-term healthcare providers in medical malpractice defense litigation throughout Pennsylvania.
