
William W. Thompson concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental and municipal law. Prior to law school, Bill graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in civil engineering. In addition to serving two years in the United States Army, Bill also received a Master of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston. At the Dickinson School of Law, Bill was an associate editor of the Dickinson Journal of International Law. During law school, he clerked for President Judge David W. Craig of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court.
Before joining Salzmann Hughes, P.C., Bill practiced with an environmental law firm in the Harrisburg area where he practiced extensively before the Pennsylvania civil and federal courts and the Environmental Hearing Board. Practicing as an attorney in the environmental field, Bill is able to combine and utilize his diverse knowledge and training in engineering, business and law. Because of Bill’s various background qualifications, he has a unique perspective into our clients’ environmental problems and related legal needs.
